Data Protection
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Beautiqua is a private seller on Amazon.in. To run our store, we use the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) to retrieve and process our own seller data — orders, inventory, catalogue, and reports — for internal business operations only. This page describes how we handle that data in line with Amazon's Data Protection Policy and applicable law.
1. Purpose
We access seller data solely to: process and fulfil orders, manage inventory and pricing, maintain catalogue accuracy, handle returns and refunds, and produce accounting and GST records. We do not resell seller data, build public tools for other sellers, or use the data for advertising.
2. Data minimisation
We retrieve only the data fields needed for the tasks above. We do not collect data we do not need.
3. Storage and access
- Data is stored on secure, access-controlled servers with encryption at rest.
- Access is restricted to the proprietor and authorised staff on a need-to-know basis, protected by strong, unique credentials and multi-factor authentication where available.
- Transmission of data uses encrypted channels (TLS/HTTPS).
4. Retention and deletion
We keep seller data only as long as required for operations, tax, and compliance, and we delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.
5. Sharing
Seller data is shared only with the marketplaces themselves, our accounting/tax advisers, and authorities where required by law. We do not sell or disclose seller data to third parties.
6. Incident response
We maintain procedures to detect, contain, and report security incidents, including unauthorised access to seller data, in line with applicable requirements.
